Gel vs Acrylic/Porcelain:
Convincing reason:  Gel is healthier for our employees and our customers.
Gel produces NO fume.  Fume from any chemical could cause health issues.

Other reasons:  Gel products meet all quality criteria as acrylic products...and even better.  Gel glossy finish lasts longer.  The absence use of primer in gel makes it
healthier for the natural nail bed.

Is gel more expensive?  Yes it is, but only slightly for the customer.  For the salon,
the cost of gel is 100 times more expensive; we use it because it contributes to a
much healthier working environment.

Are Nails UV lamps safe?  Absolutely. a conclusion from a recent scientific
research  confirms that they are very safe.  The exposure is much less than walking
around the block.  The UV-B radiation is blocked out by the coating inside the bulbs.

Why some Specialized Nails Salons are not using Gel?  We can only think of one
reason: the techniques in the application of Gel are not well mastered.

Confusion caused to customers:  Lots of customers coming to us thought that
they are wearing gel nails, but in fact it's not the case.  If the nail technician starts to
use powder, then it is NOT gel.  She is likely to insist that it is gel, "powder gel" and
even shows a container with a label saying "Powder gel".  The truth is "Powder gel" is
NOT gel.  It is acrylic.  Some other processes have acrylic as a base and put a coat of
gel on top: that is NOT fully gel either.
